"Keep seeing me while I decide so YOU can't see anyone else and I can keep my options open."

As a person with chronic pain, you can't be too sick for your girlfriend but not too sick for your friends

For story 2, OP is valid to remove herself from the situation, regardless of whether the person is autistic or not. She is receiving unsolicited advances—especially the lingere hello?😭—and her friends aren’t siding with her. Sam’s family needs to address this behavior so he doesn’t get involved in an actual, serious crime like stalking.
Edit: omg the update makes it worse. Nate shouldn’t have encouraged this and lied about OP being Sam’s gf. The AHs are the family.

Story 6: "They told me you'd lie" gave me horror movie vibes. Holy...

Story 2: she didn’t cut ties because of his autism, she did it because he’s creepy, as some who is very autistic, I can tell when someone is not interested in me

@sanaeri4763 1 year ago

For the stalker guy...
It isn't directly because he is autistic. It IS because he was coddled and presumed unable to be more than a naive harmless/useless kid because of the diagnosis and never TAUGHT the lessons other kids (hopefully) would be

For story 5. Im so happy she could move on, the mf came crawling back when he realised she was the best thing that happened to him

@Aureilia 1 year ago

Story 2: honestly Nate is giving me the most alarm bells, Sam was obviously being creepy but Nate actively encouraging the behaviour and lashing out at OP near the end makes me feel like Nate also liked OP and was manipulating Sam's feelings and ignorance of social norms to be a massive creep by proxy

As a woman I can attest to how often stalking occurs and not just by men, I had a female coworker who stalked me and wrote a story in which my best friend was murdered so she would have me all to herself.

2nd story: I had a roommate that was autistic who decided to pursue me, and he went past sending me lingerie... I was living with all men, so no one really took it too seriously (which was really frustrating). It was a sticky situation because he was a roommate, so we were going to be stuck together. When he made physical advances, I pushed him away from me.
Then a friend of one roommate noticed, despite being drunk 24/7. The next time he tried something with me, he tackled him. He understood after that 🙄
Apparently it took a man for a man to understand.

24:15 "It wasn't meant like that" - it's not a translation issue. It sounds equally pathetic in German.

I have an autistic sister and if she tried anything like Sam, we would have a long talk thankful she won’t as she has no interest in anyone beyond a simple friendship.

I'm hysterical over last story. "Here's a $6500 jewelry" "Are you crazy?? That's too much!" "Let's eat on ground" "I dunno, I was getting dressed for a restaurant" "K, here's your gift: a car". That's the kind of drama I want around me - stupid but so damn funny 🤣

23:30 They don’t have Hippa in Germany. But they do have the Patient Data Protection Act (PDSG. The acronym makes sense in german) which offers very similar protections. So I’d imagine a staff member at that clinic would face serious repercussions, if this is how the coworker found out.

Story 6 is a horror story as an abuse victim. I literally had to explain to someone I moved states to get away because having panic attacks while going into a Wal-Mart just because it's in one town isn't normal. Only for that person to be like "Oh yeah, they're gonna probably be here when you come visit because I think you need to get over it," the night prior to me driving over.

14:00 Doubling down on what I said on stream. Autism is a factor in HOW you enact and expect accountability, but isn't an excuse to not hold someone accountable. Him getting help would be the best thing you could do for him.

Girlie struggling to rebuild her esteem after her husband left for younger girl. He did what they call a 20/80 and ducked up his life. He had 80% of what he needed to be fulfilled but threw it out for 20% of what was missing (the 20% is always a young ladies body). It's called the 20/80. Interesting stuff...

I absolutely despise “they can’t help it they’re autistic”. I have undiagnosed autism (90s, yo), an autistic parent, and an autistic nephew. I get autism.

But I have had “friends” who are autistic and they’d be flat out rude and hateful. The mutual friends would wave it off as autism.

I had a girl yell at me about how crap my art and writing is but the others defended her.

I had a girlfriend who said, “well I don’t want to hang out with you, I’m bored, and I never loved you, I just pretended to so you’d hang with me”. This is after she yelled at me over text to leave her alone when I asked for support before HAVING SURGERY.

“Oh, they’re autistic, they didn’t mean-“

Bullcrap. I hate the autism excuse. You’re not autistic. You’re an a-hole. 🎉

It makes me sad that someone would call someone who callously dumped her and probably cheated on her the love of her life. No, honey, someone who loves you would not do these things and you want someone who loves you. After my failed engagement, I started doing a lot of activities. I took an acting class. I took myself out to dinner. I basically dated myself.
