I have to admire Lineker. Unlike many celebrities, he has put telling the truth above his own personal interests.

Covering the crime of a genocide is in itself a crime

BBC has been almost complicit.

Shame that TV personalities are not brave and honest as Gary Lineker🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

Not only the BBC
All the parties should be condemning the Israeli government. Especially Netanyahu

The true story about Palestine should be told more often

lineker is WAY too kind to the wretched BBC.

BBC has lost every credibility.
And they are not the only ones.

Cancelled my TV licence 6 months ago. Repugnant organisation.

Colonialists, occupiers and apartheid regimes do not have the right to defend their occupations and apartheid systems. It’s the occupied who have the right under international law to defend themselves and to liberate their countries.

Israel was an apartheid state before Oct 7.
Oct 7 'did not happen in a vacuum' as said by Secretary General of UN

Well done Gary for putting your head above the parapet time and time again in behalf of humanity. Thank you Owen for your sharing and commenting on this interview

We need more people like Gary Linekar!

That Amol is as sleazy as they come. The epitome of genocide apologist

"As a young photojournalist living in Gaza, Fatima Hassouna knew that death was always at her doorstep. As she spent the past 18 months of war documenting airstrikes, the demolition of her home, the endless displacement and the killing of 11 family members, all she demanded was that she not be allowed to go quietly." She was killed five days ago by a missile strike alongside ten family members in an Israeli airstrike on their Gaza City home on 16 April, the day after hearing her documentary was accepted by the Cannes film festival. The documentary is called “ Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk”

I turned 70 in January. All my life I loved and lauded the BBC. In March I ended my license and got a refund. It have not regretted it for a second. I follow the legal requirement to not watch 'live' or streaming services. Everything I want to interact with is available in other fomats and in the print media. I am glad I acted on my morals. I have watched the injustice systematically imposed on the Palestinian people since 1971. Thankfully more and more people, especially the younger generation, are now seeing the truth and are as horrified as I have been.

Amol Rajan was not impartial..he used the term slaughter for Oct 7th but did not use the term slaughter for Palestinian civilians. People like him should be shamed in history.

Amal Rajan has lost his conscience and backbone. He is now just a privelaged yes man at the BBC.

The BBC didn't show that clip on the news, I wonder why. Fair play to Gary Lineker...
