Jaegers: "protect the city"
Godzilla: Aggressively taking notes for his next attack in tokyo

Jaegers: We saved the city!
Government: but at what cost?
Jaegers: The City

Pacific Rim Jaegers: takes the battle to the ocean and if it reaches the city tries to make minimal damage
Uprising Jaegers: Fuck it it’s free real estate

Amazing, the people charged with defending the city actually caused way more damage than the monsters attacking it.

I love how they gave that one jeager a pair of lightsabers, saw it cut once and realized that that's stupid OP and that they could end the fight by themselves, so they didn't let em use em again and instead resorted to kicking for the rest of the fight.

Omfg the Jaeger's did most of the damage in the City while the Kaijus are just passing thru.

Orange jaeger: *pulls out two swords
Also orange Jaeger: *kicks the kaijus instead of using the swords

Damn, I guess these Jager pilots all skipped the collateral damage 101 class in pilot school.

1:45 ive just realised that raijin doing his little energy conversion is in real time. This means that gipsy really just stood there for 8 seconds after landing a punch

Edit: pause the video at 1:55 and set to 0.25 speed. HES LITERALLY JUST STOOD THERE

3:41 how did that building take no damage

When protagonist die in others Films : sad
When protagonist die in this film : happy

all three Kaiju slowly begin to merge to become the Mega Kaiju

Jaegers: Alright, we can wait. Take your time. No pressure.

One thing I've noticed is that the cockpits in this movie just feel like rooms that the pilots are standing in. Versus the original where they actually looked like the place where you control a massive robot with attachments for your arms and you had your legs hooked up to these mechanisms that would churn and move the robot. These look like VR setups in Ready Player One.

Love how they just sit and watch the 3 kaijus do a fusion dance

This would have actually made a pretty good Power Rangers Movie.

The first movie : kill the monster and protect the city.

The second movie : kill the monster with the city.

GENIUS.

The people: NO NO just leave the monsters, it's fine.

Even Godzilla did less damage to a city than these so-called "Protector"

2:32 that penguin really had a nice show

The way they designed the Jeagers in this movie makes the mobile suits G-Savior look like masterpieces.
