Knowing that 8 whole people were still using PS2 online in that obscure game I've never heard of really warmed my heart

Hey Player 2, I am from BF2MC Online and host the revival servers, thanks for playing with us! We are indeed a small community dedicated to keeping the game as alive as it can be in 2025, we're just glad to be able to play our beloved game again. Really awesome video! As someone who has been playing the series since BF1942, was fun to dive through the series again!

It is heartbreaking to know that the amazing times we had playing Bad Company 2 online can never be relived.

Some of these games I DEFINITELY gave a lot more love than others. But, they were all great to experience for the first time

It’s ironic how hes talking about 2142 in the video at 21:42 😂

I also remember battlefield 1943. It was such a fun game. Honestly it’s kind of sad seeing these old games that are just dead now. It just reminds me that my childhood is gone. Halo 3, bad company 2, 1943, MW2, black ops, and so many more. I really lived through the golden age of gaming and I wished I had savored that time more especially considering what’s coming out today.

54:52 I so wish you were able to experience Commander Mode. It was a similar mechanic to the Hacker role. Commander could send an objective order to an entire team, instead of just to one squad. They could also send in ammo crates, vehicles and launch airstrikes. It could be played either in-game, or via mobile app. It was so sick back in the day you’re basically directly participating in a BF match while on the go

I was 12 years old in 2002 when my dad bought me Battlefield 1942 and now i'm 35 and still have Battlefield 1942 kept safe

Dude did play every battlefield for the first time because technically he played the 1st game at a time so the first time was revealed as playing with navy buddies (don’t worry I’m your lawyer player2 I’ve got you)

19:32 The visual technique seen in the tree is called Pseudo 3D, billboards or billboarding sprites

I used to work graveyard shift at a grocery store doing freight and stocking shelves with like 4 other dudes for the whole store. No matter how tired we were, we'd all get home and link up on battlefield 3. Some of the worst yet most memorable times of my life.

Since you enjoyed 2142 Titan mode I thought it would be good to point out the Naval DLC for BF4 had the titan mechanic with the aircraft carriers. It was pretty well done.

1:07:03 bro was thinking about 2142 so much it he typed it on 2042 as well :)

1:06:56 It’s a shame, too, because at its core BFV is a very well fun game. Might even have some of the best gunplay in the franchise. I set all of my factions to have the accurate weapons and equipment, which was just chef’s kiss.

bf1 is perfection. the fact that you can still get full lobbies after nearly a decade is a testament to the love for the game.

49:50 Someone is no doubt going to correct me but CoD Ghosts had something similar but on a smaller scale in some of it's multiplayer maps, I can recall on the map Octane specifically you could shoot the fuel station and make it fall down. No doubt it was a last minute addition in response to BF4 which came out in the same year and as you'd said, the term "Levelution" was EVERYWHERE in the scene at that time

Man, you literally just missed our huge HELLO Clan BFVietnam event today. Had a full server for 2/3 the whole day!
Also: 2142, you had your graphics at like the lowest setting...
