This video is not intended for children under the age of 14. Quite frankly, kids...I'm just some random old dude talking about nostalgic TV and movie stuff from a really long time ago and I highly doubt that it is going to interest you.

"As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly" is a line that will live forever

I think WKRP is one of the best comedies ever made. Every episode always gets a good laugh out of me.

Gary was so good on the show. The most "normal" of all the characters, and he anchored it so well.

I agree, WKRP was one of the funniest shows of that era.

Turkeys Away is definitely my favorite episode. "Oh, the humanity!"

Gary owns a beautiful farm in Kentucky and takes care of his mom who lives nearby. He's still acting (though not during the pandemic.) He drove me around the farm on his ATV. What a riot. My wife and I have dinner with him when he's in LA.

Gary Sandy 'as Andy' was the epitome of how guys dressed back in the late 70's feathered hair and tight jeans with shirt tucked in.

I'll never forget that Turkey Drop, or Les Nessman's mispronounced "Chi Chi Rod-i-gwezz".
So happy to hear he followed his passion!

My favorite sitcom of all time. It wasnt popular in syndication, due to cost per episode, due to music rights.

WKRP should have lasted longer. It was so funny, well written and great ensemble cast.

"They were all my favorites."
Exactly! Rare to have a cast that's so universally liked. Sad the show didn't last longer.

I was then, and still am to this day a Bailey Quarters guy.

It's great to hear Gary Sandy is still acting, but he'll always be Andy Travis to me. Thanks for sharing, Dave!

I'll never forget the episode where Venus Flytrap broke down protons, neutrons and electrons. My mom was a 6th grade teacher at a little public school; in any case, she recorded that episode (rerun on VHS--we're talking about '86 or '87) and showed that to her classes. I miss this type of television...so nice to see you do these highlights!!
