Real talk, this shouldn't be novelty this should be a standard for all communities.

Bringing farm life back and making it a “privileged luxury” is disturbing

We were part of the presale process and walked away. Unfortunately, they raised the price nearly 6 figures at the 11th hour from what they’d advertised for the previous year. They were charging another 6 figures for lots that backed up to nature. VIP pricing was only $10k off the current pricing with no flexibility on lots or rates. It looks like they are now running specials with rates 2% lower than they offered to VIPs to generate interest. I had high hopes for the community, but the greed of the project drove a few prospective buyers away.

That area is already a cluster with traffic, nice job on making it even worse. Hope they plan on planting half the trees that they cleared out to build this community.

Destroyed everything to "create a farm" on farmland... the road is also not equipped to handle this fyi for future residents - also in a flood zone 😂

As someone living in Avalon Park as cool as this looks the traffic is going to be atrocious on the Alafaya trail to innovation way route.
Also sucks knowing that as someone who would love to buy there, born/raised in Orlando, but already being priced out by out of staters and private equity buying up to rent

Leave it to Pulte. Agrihoods are an amazing concept but The Grow borrows moral weight from homesteading, self-sufficiency, and food sovereignty. They’ve privatized desperately needed public infrastructure just to sell it back as a $800K house and amenity package where a third-party (Agmenity) farms for you and you can pay extra to have a garden plot. CDD and HOA fees abound.

Average people who NEED this can’t afford it. But thank goodness rich people can!

Can't believe this comment section eating these lies up. Surrounded by 100yr old oaks? Forgets to mention the hundreds if not more they had to knock down.
These puppets pumping these lies. HOA pays three peoples salaries but I guess they never plan on getting raises??

Why did they still clearcut the lots?

@danielh248 3 weeks ago

It's about time they brought an agrihood to Orlando. Our last neighbor in virginia, where our old home/rental home is, was the largest argihood in the country Willowsford farm. It was like living in a high end resort that had every amenities you can think of.

It’s a fantasy of living on a farm without the fuss or muss of really having to work and maintain a real farm. Folks, you can buy land and a home outside of Orlando much cheaper.

This reminds me of BABCOCK Ranch, that's in Punta Gorda/Fort Myers

As someone against over development after growing up in South Florida I think is an amazing model and would love to live somewhere like here not my own land

How about building studios and one bedrooms for 50-100k?

@danswink4362 2 months ago

We have had it in Shady Hills called Angelina for the last 4 years and a couple others opening.

@BrewsBratsPlants 2 months ago

Not worth the cost, just buy land and farm it yourself even if it's on a smaller scale.

@ciimoon5661 2 months ago

more interested in the details of the farm gardens... is all the produce grown by the farmers available to the residents for picking and included in their hoa fee?

The grow is near bithlo Fl about 45 minutes away from Titusville, which is much easier drive because once you start hitting colonial Drive to go to Orlando 20 minutes maybe at night with all the lights in the red lights that are not synced I say nighttime at most of 45 minutes daytime with the traffic good luck that’s two hour trip
