Good to see DAK getting some love - in the process of adding 5 light mortar and 3 ATR teams to my Support Platoon for V3... 22 dice in a 1000 point tournament army.

The deployment in the story game certainly did not need a pre bombardment. He was a good sport for sure.

I have a good idea for a 2v2 battle if you are interested. I played it with my friends and it turned out great. It would be the battle for Itter Castle, 2 SS players versus 1 US player and 1 German player (USA + Germany defending), but due to the fact that this is one of the last SS battles, there is no prep bombardment, but depending on what you think, they may have everyone fanatic or just a little more points (we did 1000+1000 v 1250+1250)

1:40 These DAK Germans are a PIECE OF ART JP!!!
3:40 I am buying the Wargame Atlantic Partisan Kit.... Bo has also Cavallery... I am thinking of buying a Pack of "Perry Minis American Civil WAR Cav".
Why aren't you playing CAVALLERY?^^
Or do I run my force Infantry only?
What Color did you use to Prime your Partisans?

Great batrep guys! Any chance you could share the German list details? I know you ran through it at the start but I can’t get the list under 1250 points.
When I put it into Easy Army I get 1323 points.
The only way I can see you can get under 1250 is if the panzer iiis become G’s (light tank with medium anti-tank gun).
Assume medium mortars are regular with 1 spotter between them?

19:13 quick rules question… I thought in Volume 3 all vehicle MG’s got their number of shots split in half, so with buzzsaw wouldn’t it only be 6 shots?

There is no two mechanics in Bolt Action I hate more than Prep. Bombardment and Fog of War. They are just not fun mechanics.
