What were your thoughts on the new Squadron 42 trailer? Will we see pre-orders drop in the next week or two or will we have to wait for a potential game awards appearance in December? Let me know what you think in the comments!

As for Bishops face frozen in horror - remember that in the citcon demo, you can see him quite clearly start to lose composure when he hails the Gauntlet - I really liked that part, it showed him from more personal angle, and this shot seems to be an extension of that. With the radar behind him being that red, I suspect it's him witnessing the ram as it happens, realising that the Krugeri is now saved from immediate destruction, but dealing with the horror of potentially losing his daughter.

12:16 The "Fife Finger Fillet"
(also called the "Knife Trick" of "Knife Game")

Really hope the naming tags on the ships make it into the PU. Ones we currently have suck, those in the trailer are epic.

I interpreted the waking up part as him dying and having his imprint bring him back. The trailer was just incredible, gave me chills. We have come so far.

The kevel of detail of the ships is vastly increased in that scene at 3:06

Feeling i had of the hospital bit was that it was your meat printer resurrection clone coming to life.

The trailer and thoughts from those at the event have definitely made me more optimistic and excited about the game. You could say it “held the line”. The steam listing is also cool to see, though I’m surprised they didn’t open pre orders up again

My take on the medical bed was that your character is reforming out of med-gel.

The hacking mini-game reminds me of the mini-game from System Shock.

16:21 that's the prism electrical shotgun IIRC, maybe it overloads their armor's systems and causes them to explode? IDK what comprises vanduul armor tho.

Preorders definitely won’t go live for a few more weeks at least.

9:47 after the javelin ram the kingship is going to miss it's beam laser and hit the city on the surface behind the krugeri. We're seeing the aftermath here.
