I never even got most the robots as a little kid, dude that was awesome

Love the channel, Nate. Keep it up.

Reliving my childhood vicariously through your channel!

it's amazing to see the difference in your older videos from your current ones.  You've come a long way and much higher energy.  Glad to see you've covered the classics though!

I used to use the pause unpause trick after firing elecbeam on the yellow devil.  He is without question the toughest boss in the game.

When I was a kid I could plow through these levels blaster only. There was absolutely a trick to getting through the firefall just counting and timing but I have not remembered it my entire adult life.

listen to this old Nate video, no camera, professional sounding chatter, no 90s references.... how he's evolved. hahah.  :)

The game looks so so so good still. It's the OG, my favorite of the series. And modern TVs really make these old games pop better than ever.

I'll die on the hill that the damage sound when MegaMan hits an enemy was much better in this and part 2 than the rest of the series.

The soundtracks on this serie is pure genious.

A classic series begins here!😊

Lastly, because they were some of my favorite Captain N episodes I present to you, by heart...

Kevin:  You're the dude who built all those wicked robots:  Cut Man, Ice Man, Elec Man...

Dr. Light:  And don't forget Fire Man, Guts Man, and Bomb Man.  They were all quite useful you know until Dr. Wily reprogrammed them for his destructive ends.

This is a great series that you do! I really enjoy the content. Thank you

man i miss megaman so much

The game that got me from wanting to Nintendo to NEEDING a Nintendo. My gaming obsession all starts here. And yes, the yellow devil is still a pain in the ass.

lol you make this look so easy.  Great play through thanks

Awesome video! Thanks again! I was screwed at the Megaman clone and you saved me showing me the Elecman weapon! I was using Fire n couldn't get past him. Lol. Great work as usual brother!
Edit: I'm back. I lied about the clone. I died with 2 bars of life left on the clone multiple times trying the Thunder Beam too! I had to keep smashing the jump and shoot buttons at the same time shooting 3 times during the jump so I cover the entire area and I used the good ol' Mega Buster! Man, what a fun game. I only ever played part 2&3 growing up, even tho I played it sooooo often that I thought I musta played at least 4 different Mega Man games! Lol. Nope, just the 2 best 1's from what I've seen others say. I beat part 2 back when I got my NES Classic Edition but I am committed to beating all 6 in a row so on to part 2! I hope you did videos on all 6 games but if not I'll just watch the 1s you have and go to VideoGames101 for the rest. I used to watch UCanBeatVideoGames but I've come to like VideoGames101 more. It's the best 1 after your channel. Anyways, wish me luck! That was the first time I played the original Megaman n I loved it.

Love this type of content! Great Walkthrough!

So much better to being able to hear the music and game sounds and @RetroNate  not talking non stop for the whole video.
In recent videos you can never hear the game. He literally won’t stop talking for even 2 seconds.

Emboldened by my recent conquest of Megaman 2, I dove into this one as well. Your tips and techniques did me well once more. This is one that I did not beat back in the day, but I have now. Thanks again!
