This week I’m tackling some of the changes we discussed in the review of my German Armies. This involves building a box of German grenadiers and assorted extras to ‘imaginatively’ construct a separate section to represent the German static armies which defended the beaches. At the same time, I also wanted to bolster the grenadiers with some additional men too.

I've just been fighting assembling some plastic figures for Blood and Plunder and while I like what they turn out like, those instructions you have there are AMAZING compared to what B&P gives you... those new figures there are just lovely :) nice!!! great result mate :)

When doing these projects they seem to grow arms and legs. In that there is always something to add or change. It will put to bed nagging doubts. In that the Troops are as accurate as you can make them. Regarding the STG 44.Many of these actually went to lower formations. It cut down on training these conscripts on how to aim and fire a rifle. In short it would take more time to train a recruit to shoot straight rather than just spray the enemy with SMG fire. Some did go to the SS and Veteran troops, down to availabilty than anything else. Your right regarding the STG 44 in Normandy cannot recall seeing photo's or on youtube this weapon have been watching these while crafting lately. Wondering have you made any shell craters ? Also have you much left to do before you can shake those dice ? Great video by the way.

Great video Chris. That warlord heavy weapons team in plastic looks like a great kit. Really looking forward to seeing them painted. I don’t think I would be able to remove my figures from bases without doing a lot of damage, yours look great.
