Welcome to Truck Care TV. In this video, we document an intense and challenging mechanical rescue high up in the rugged mountains. Our Massey Ferguson 375 tractor was heavily loaded with massive rocks inside a heavy-duty trolley, struggling up a steep, dangerous mountain grade. Right in the middle of the grueling climb, a sudden loud mechanical noise echoed from the rear split section of the tractor. The transmission failed instantly, leaving the heavy rig completely jammed—unable to move forward or backward. The internal transmission coupling had completely slipped and broken under extreme pressure, causing immense panic for our driver stranded in the middle of nowhere.
Because field repair was impossible on such a steep and risky slope, we immediately called in backup assistance. Two additional Massey Ferguson tractors arrived at the scene, positioning themselves behind the heavy rock-filled trolley to push the entire load all the way up the mountain. Once safely cleared to the top, we hauled the disabled Massey Ferguson 375 down to our professional workshop located right outside our rock crushing plant in the mountains.
Inside the workshop, our experienced mechanic got straight to work using simple hand tools. First, the transmission housing cover was unbolted and lifted off to expose the internal mechanical assembly. Upon inspection, it was crystal clear: the primary transmission spline coupling and locking ring had suffered catastrophic failure, stripping away its teeth completely and slipping out of alignment.
We immediately sourced a brand-new, heavy-duty replacement component—specifically the standard Massey Ferguson transmission spline coupling (OEM part configuration #1871924M1 / #1866557M1 with heavy-duty high-torque locking ring). Our mechanic carefully aligned the new coupling, secured the locking mechanism tightly, and applied high-grade silicone gasket sealant around the housing cover edges to prevent any future oil leaks. Every single bolt was torqued back into place with absolute precision.
To ensure everything was running like factory new, we fired up the diesel engine, engaged the gears, and tested the transmission system thoroughly. The repair was a complete success! With the tractor fully restored and operating smoothly, we drove it over to our rock crushing plant and successfully unloaded the entire heavy payload of rocks.
This comprehensive, evergreen documentary captures the raw reality of heavy machinery operations, emergency mountain recoveries, and professional mechanical overhauls. Whether you are a professional diesel mechanic, a heavy equipment operator, or someone who loves industrial ASMR and raw machinery sounds, this detailed step-by-step repair guide is built to remain relevant, educational, and searchable for decades to come. Thank you for watching Truck Care TV, and stay tuned for more heavy-duty mechanical rescues and mining operations from the mountains.
