Brian Moore...The sound of his voice is pure football nostalgia.

I am Austrian, 12 years young back then ... I was a SUPER LEEDS UNITED FAN! Loved their game - and notice - it was 1975 - sooo different to "know" or "watch" a foreign soccer club ... and I love all the super players ... in that time LEEDS UNITED just had only NATIONAL TEAM PLAYERS in the team! England - Wales - Scotland - Northern Ireland - Ireland - just heroes in the team! And remember or let you tell you (younger readers :-) ) WE HAD THAT SUPER-SEMIFINAL: ST. ETIENNE - BAYERN MÜNCHEN ... FC BARCELONA - LEEDS UNITED .... Bayern went over St. Etienne - Leeds went over Barcelona ... LEEDS UNITED was the super-big favourite for the final in Paris vs Bayern ... LEEDS dominated the whole match ... Bayern came 2-times in front of the LEEDS goalkeeper ... and scored 2 goals ... well ... then the Leeds fans or "fans" droped down to the field their plastic seats ... and MY SUPER CLUB WAS BANNED FROM INTERNATIONAL GAMES for years ... all the stars left LEEDS UNITED of course ... A SUPER TIME OF EUROPEAN FOOTBALL ... Ajax ... Bayern ... Leeds ... Barcelona .... Real ... I WILL ALWYS REMEMBER MY STARS OF FOOTBAL IN THESE 1970s ... ♥

Back in the day when Leeds/Barcelona was more than a budget airline route.

RIP Lash. What a player

Leeds 70s side and Brian Moore = GOAT.

Lorimer's shot for the goal - fantastic - as good as anything Bobby Charlton ever did.
Biggest possible respect for a great team from a Man United fan - you were robbed so disgracefully in the final.

All that effort only to be robbed blind in the final. I was at the first leg with my Dad. I was only 14 years old at the time. Still remember it today.

The Legend Brian Moore

OMG I remember that night, 15 years old. Listened on an old wireless & then watched it on tv later. Did anyone ever hit a ball sweeter than Lorimer did  that night? What a night, what a team, what fantastic memories

No prima Donna’s here…just good football

There’s some great players in that Leeds team. I’m not even a Leeds fan, so it’s incredible that the names in that Leeds line up still roll off the tongue half a century later.

I remember watching this on the box and cheering Leeds on. Back in the days when one always cheered the English League Champions. Me a Chelsea fan too. Must admit I always liked this Leeds side. Not a single bad player on the pitch.

What a side this Leeds team was.dont mess with them.

The great Jimmy Armfield was robbed of European Cup success as a manager. A great man- R.I.P. Mr Armfield.

I was there supporting FCB and left the stadium in tears

How in the world this Leeds team do not have a European title???
What a squad!!!👌👌👌⚽

Pleasure to see the Camp Nou before enlarging it for the WC' 1982. And in COLOR!!! fabulous!!!

"He threw a punch, whether he connected or not I cannot tell you " 😂🤣
