Merci mille fois de nous avoir monter à blanc ,pas à pas ce futur #Hurri de #Kotare .
J’ai toute la gamme de #Kotare au 1/32 et leur qualité extreme de montage est du même niveau que Tamiya ,de la micro précision qui font que l’on a pas besoin de mastic .
Et surtout l’ingéniosité de #Kotare en technique de montage ,d’ajustements des pièces ,et j’adore les explications historique dans leur notice qui nous font voyager dans le temps pour apprendre des faits technique /Humain que l’on ne connaissais pas du tout sur l’avion que l’on monte .
Dernière chose que vous expliquez aussi :
-LA FACILITÉ DE MONTAGE .
Quand on monte un kit Tamiya au 1/32,on a des centaines et des centaines de pièces à coller,peindre ,et souvent on peste pour la perte de temps à coller tout cela pour avoir un résultat final qui aurais pu comme le fais #Kotare ou Eduard avec son récent P51B/C au 1/32 avec des ensembles de détails mouler avec de nouvelles technique qui évite de coller des centaines de pièces ,qui peuvent ensuite mal s’ajuster si on a le malheur de laisser un peu de peinture sur les parties coller .
Avec un kit #Kotare on a le même niveau de détails voir mieux que Tamiya en passant 10 fois moins de temps à monter un kit .
J’appelle cela la perfection en 2026 en technique de construction de kit a 100% en plastique sans ajout de pièces #3D .
J’ai 59ans ,je suis né en 1966, j’ai monter des centaine de kits depuis mes 8ans .
Jamais je n’avais vu une telle facilité /rapidité/des détails extrême pendant 51 ans de montage de kits à toute les échelles .

Totally agree with your preference regarding sprue attachment points on mating surfaces. I wouldn't say I hate them, but I generally would prefer that they were elsewhere.

Great video Jen, I always seem to learn something new when I watch your videos, today it was the fixing technique of fabric on the tail plane and the diagonal seems  under the wings, no one has ever pointed that out before to the best of my knowledge.
You have inspired me to get my finger out and finish my Kotare Mk 1a Spitfire, (built but not yet painted) and of course no better companion than to have a Kotare Hurricane sitting beside it wouldn't you say 😁

I absolutely love Kotare’s philosophy and their kits are worth every penny. They make scale modeling a joy, and I’m willing to bet that their kits spend less time on the shelf waiting for their builder to summon the will to start them than do many others. Cheers Jen!

I make builds like this, including the decals, just like I did as a kid. Matchbox kits were even better back then, as a wee chap (no painting). Very happy and wonderful days. Wish I could go back…🫶🏻

Bare naked build? Bare-faced cheek, if you ask me. I'm glad you didn't include that in the video though, because it would have been most distracting from your handywork.

Thanks for the build Jen, it was very informative. I have the Pacific Coast metal wing Hurricane kit. Comparing it to what you've shown, the Kotare kit is much better. I'll get the Kotare metal wing kit when it comes along, as it's bound to do so sooner or later.

Well I've got to say, that was probably the best hour and forty minutes I've spent in many a month! And I really mean that 🙏 Love the build process of this kit, it is genuinely designed by modellers for modellers.  The thought processes that have gone into designing it are incredible, and the end result of that is a model that almost falls together , but is such an accurate representation of the Hurricane, it almost defies belief! Perhaps a bit dramatic but hey, I love to see a cracking model !
Really enjoyed your video too Jen 👌 as always your description of the build process and what to look out for, is spot on. I've been putting off pre-ordering this one for a while now as I've been trying to reduce the stash a bit. Might have to bite the bullet!

I was keeping an eye out for this build, ever since Jamie Haggo dropped hints. I wasn't expecting a 'naked' build, though! LOL!
You show all the fit and issues (not that there were all that many, from your build) and the quality that went into creating this kit. This very probably will be my only Kotare kit, as I may not be able to afford all their Spitfires. If, however, they decide to produce other variants of the Hurricane, I shall be forced to sell a kidney! This Test Shot #3 is awesome! I hope that you can put it next to Jamie's 2nd test shot.
