It's time for the yearly jaunt down to Nebraskee's butthole the great state off Kansass.. The past couple years have been mildly disappointing, but word on the street is this year is en Fuego. I hopped in ol' Crustacean of the Rustation after a quick tune up, and embarked on 24 hours of southern fitchin'.

When you said species number 3, it was species number 4, 1st was buffalo, then sauger, then drum bud, finally white bass.

Recognized Rocky Ford immediately. Hooked a big flathead on a baby whale there back in May. Light spinning setup with 8 lb line. Fish kicked my butt. After 20 minutes he turned his head and the hook came loose. Gar were so thick you could walk across them though.

Nice to see you away from the sewage outlet 😢😂 Fact: Most walleyes that we catch are right at dark and later in central Pennsylvania . 🎣

So glad to see you doing better bro! Or at least getting out more.

Walleye will have a white tip on the lower back tail while the dorsal fin on a sauger or saugeye will be spotter. But I generally follow the white tip on the tail for species clarification

Grew up fishing that spot Josh! Best bait down there this time of year is definitely a 3” curly tail grub double jig rig. I like pink jig head and white body but every color works down there.

Wow last of the buffalo stampedes😅

Would have jumped on the rod deal but sadly only the casting rod was in stock. I know it's not your fault but disappointing that 6th Sense didn't have stock on the busiest shopping week of the year...

That sir was a Walleye.

I looked it up, and the state fish of both Kansas and Nebraska is the Channel Cat. Wild about Fish did a video of all the state fishes, and none had the flathead. Indiana was the only state without a state fish.
