🎣 KOKANEE EVERYWHERE at Jordanelle Reservoir! In this trip, we take you both on the sonar AND underwater to see exactly what’s happening beneath the boat!
We’re fishing Jordanelle Reservoir in Utah for kokanee salmon, using my Humminbird MEGA Live 2, an underwater camera, and Rocky Mountain Tackle gear to find the schools, watch how the fish react to our presentation, and put a bunch of kokanee in the boat.
The underwater footage is what makes this trip really cool. We get to compare what we're seeing on MEGA Live 2 forward-facing sonar with what the fish actually look like underwater. You can see the kokanee swimming, how they're grouped up, and what’s really happening down there while we're fishing above them.
🎣 IN THIS VIDEO:
• Finding kokanee with Humminbird MEGA Live 2
• Actual underwater footage of kokanee
• Catching Jordanelle Reservoir kokanee
• Rocky Mountain Tackle kokanee gear in action
• Locating schools and staying on the fish
• Trolling techniques and presentations
• A LOT of kokanee action!
One of the things I love about fishing with MEGA Live 2 is being able to see where the schools are in relation to the boat and our gear. Adding the underwater camera gives us another perspective and lets us compare what the sonar is showing us with what's actually happening underwater.
And once we found the fish, the Rocky Mountain Tackle gear got the job done!
If you're interested in kokanee fishing in Utah, fishing Jordanelle Reservoir, forward-facing sonar, Humminbird MEGA Live 2, underwater cameras, or learning how to catch more kokanee, this trip has a little bit of everything.
