宮崎大分間は宗太郎峠という物理的な壁（東九州自動車道もこれがネック）と宮崎県・大分県の仲がそんなにいいわけじゃないという精神的な壁（大したライバルがいなかったのにあっという間に高速バスが廃止された）の二つがネックになっているんだよなあ。
宮崎は鹿児島や熊本とはけっこう仲がいいから、それを利用したルートの方が県民も受け入れやすいし。
