Hello Everyone! Greetings from the Iredell County Chess Club! Nelson, we have been watching your progress for the last few years now, and we absolutely love your passion for the game of chess. Thank you for all of your videos, lessons, wins, losses and blunders over the years. You are a constant source of inspiration for our members, especially the ones getting into chess later in life. We all just wanted to take the opportunity to say "Thank you!"

We hope you continue to bring us checkmate for many many more games to come!!! Much love from Statesville, NC.

Oh wait, I like the mouse!

It's weird to see the mouse it took me offguard

That pawn in the first game is my hero. 😂😂😂 sole survivor

TS 1:25  Push the pawns in the "Pawnziani"  LOL.  Lovin' this series.  Cheers!

Brilliant video. You are sharing value while creating value for yourself.
I'm still not going to join your academy because I just don't have time for the game of chess right now, but I hope you get something for your effort.
You said there are two broad ways to look at a chess board. 1 is to look at it like mayhem, and the 2nd is to look at the board like it is structured. I have noticed you mostly play the mayhem style. 👍

3:25 I'm not sure if this is normal but it's so much harder to follow you without the mouse visible, haha

That wake pawn was one of the last man standing LOL

The longer you leave the target the longer all their pieces are tied up defending it.

Rd2 would’ve been a nice find in that Scandinavian game

17:24 it makes me optimistic about my chess journey that I spotted that move in the game when Nelson was playing.

These openings are pretty exciting to play

Great Video. I love your insights, i.e. this time about the different types of game and how to act differently in each kind. Liked.

I was actually proud of myself when I saw the rook sacrifice 35:48

No hate to Gotham chess or other creators, but this long form thinking out loud style of teaching is extremely refreshing. Keep it up

I love your chess rating climb so much!

@23:25 Chess Vibes: The show where everything's made up and the pawns don't matter.

Thanks

14:00 haha that weak pawn, the lynchpin of the entire game actually ends up surviving to the end. It's like the 101st in Bastogne

Wow, nice to see Nelsi play Lemberger countergambit against the mighty BDG❤
