Thank you, Nelson, for yet another solid and educational chess lesson. The games are getting tougher, and that’s what makes it so exciting. 77 minutes felt like nothing.

That last game was out of this world. absolutely amazing .

EXCELLENT game by your opponent israfelzig. Chess is amazing. So many times one of my weakest pieces ends up being the hero.

Boss - why are you late every Monday?
Me - Peter Patzer!
Boss - you're fired

37:08 "I bored him to death, That's a decent strategy" 😂😂

1:11:04 The blunders rating climb is back :D

I remember when i was 1200-1500 everyone had a chance to comeback because those guys not always just fall over on a simple tactic because you yourself don't see all the lethal tactics yet and people throw games at that elo for no reason sometimes. In addition the positional chess, endgames and opening knowledge isn't that developed yet so sometimes you just have a good or bad matchup and games are kinda just decided randomly.
Everytime i see a player like the last one I remember the times where I lose to people like that and get frustrated on what went wrong when in reality this was an area they are good at or I was still bad at. If they thought "I have to attack" and see Nb4 (which is a highlevel move because thinking about attacking in that position seems crazy) that game was over. So shoutout to every player in that elo because there's still a lot to learn and please don't get frustrated about your chess. You're still just at the beginning of your crazy, wonderful journey 😊

I’ve actually played the Mad g sling setup against 1.d4 too 😂 just kept pushing the g-pawn vs a 1000 and somehow ended up winning 🔥

51:22 Oh the opponent played the Benoni :D

I like how it transposes into a lot of Sicilian and Reti things. Sometimes indian defense.

This castling instantly reminded me of the Pragg vs Arjun game 😂

Me casually playing while I have mfs like this doing an entire youtube video on how I suck

Mating nets...cool tactic..!

Thank you for this channel! Since I started watching you analyze games, I've become MUCH more confident in my own games. Thanks again! :)

That last game was fascinating!!

@56:15 take pawn d5 with bishop then he takes with queen, forking queen with knight c7 and check

When Nelson mentioned 1200’s lack consistency, I felt so seen.

Knight at the edge of the board in the last game was so sad 😢

Congrats on 100 wins.

I looked at that knight on the left side and was thinking that it's just sitting over there, but I was too focused on the king not getting checkmated, and I didn't see the move.
