Today, I visit Monterrey, Mexico, the capital of Nuevo Leon. This is a very unique city, with some amazing places. I checked into a nice hotel downtown, then got some tacos. I wanted three, but the minimum order was five, so I scarfed down a massive plate with some tepache juice on the side... a classic Mexican street meal. Later on, I got a massage from a blind masseuse in the park. It turns out the government started a program here to keep blind people out of the streets, and in a safe place where they can earn money and sustain a good life. I rode the city's metro, explored the riverwalk, and got some churros to finish out the day. I loved exploring Monterrey, and hope to come back someday!
