Absolute legend. A pillar of comedy. He was in so many of my favorite childhood movies, such as Trading Places, Coming to America and Beverly Hills Cop. Great movies.

I'm 62 years old in 2023 who the hell doesn't like Eddie Murphy I love Eddie American Icon awesome

I’ll be 56 this year (2024) I grew up watching his and Richard Pryor’s stand up.  I still watch them if they are on. Classic comedy.

Old school Eddie Murphy....I miss him so much!

One of if not the most iconic stand up specials of all time🔥

Imagine being 22 and you about to make comedy history

Charlie Murphy screaming shut up b**ch, with the quickest response time in the world, will forever be the funniest part of that special 🤣 😂 😆  it is genuinely one of my favorite moments in the history of stand-up

My wife and I went and seen him during that tour, in Oakland, California. It was 2 hours of non-stop laughter.😂

He was 22 yrs old right here.

Delirious is a true Eddie Murphy classic.

Drunk father at a cookout, fat aunt (possibly Bigfoot) with a mustache falling down the steps, sadistic ice cream truck driver, soul brother downplaying how bad slavery was, shoe-throwing mother with supersonic hearing…the soundtrack of my early teens indelibly imprinted to this day.  Thank you for the highlight reel!

The best stand up ever.
No one else is funny compared to this.
The gold standard!

I am 55 years old now & was a teenager in high school when I worked at a video store that my dads poker friend owned. I became very familiar with movies for this reason and this video was my all time favorite!!!! I knew this video Backes and forwards and made MANY a friend and family member chime out with laughter at how good I was at performing this stand up!!!! Thank you Eddie for  affecting my teenage years in a wonderful way!!!!!

I got ice-cream and you can't have none!!!!😂😂

Eddie was epic in his prime, legend. 😎

Delirious and Raw are two of the greatest ever comedy performances.

Why Don't we have more people like this? He is the greatest

The influence of Pryor is really clear, but Eddie made it all his own.

That classic Eddie laugh...PRICELESS! 😂

I remember one cool video marathon night consisting of Delirious and Raw followed by Beverly Hills Cop and Trading Places. Laughed until I nearly died. Was great all my mates crashed out in my living room at 7am. Can’t even stay awake through one fucking movie  now. The 80s were the best.
