I'll coordinate with the FBI .........Oh , hell no ,  keep those idiots out of this

funny how when this movie was released the concept of geopolitical intrigue with the russians had become laughable, history repeats

Probably the most accurate portrayal of CIA leadership Hollywood has pulled off.

“A man was in here earlier asking about you.”
“We know what we’re doing Ted, did he know my NAME?”
“…..Yes he was asking about you..” lol underrated line😂

One of the funniest things about this scene is that Brad Pitt’s harmless character managed to stump the CIA.

“Scrubbed of ID”…they never found out that the “body” they salvaged was just some gym-rat nitwit. 😅

Just keep an eye on everybody ... see what they do ....then later.....well just keep an eye on every body and report back....IDK...when it makes sense

This is my 1-1 with my boss every week

The best part of this was just how chill the CIA was. It didn't make sense, it was stupid, and  they were just like. . ."well let's see how this plays out"

These two were terrific in these scenes.

“The Russians?”

"Mr Krapotkin on line 2"

"Oh my God!!.... Mr Crapkin?"

The halls have carpet when one is higher up on the food chain.

The rivalry, some would say outright contempt, between the CIA and FBI is very real and well known to most of Washington. They don't like sharing information,  personnel,  much of anything really. Some guy that used to work in the Bureau wrote a book about it and how this fundamental distrust between agencies led,in part at least, to 9/11.

It’s midnight 1:20 AM. I have just finished this movie which I had downloaded long back, around 2 months ago, but somehow kept procrastinating. Just 2 days ago on 19/05/2026 I watched Insomnia , a masterpiece by Nolan, and today on 22 May 2026  I thought to watch this movie about which I didn’t know anything, I had just downloaded it because of its interesting name.

But man, what a great movie this is. Initially for around 1 hour I kept thinking how garbage this movie is, with no logic, no concept, and no deep plot. But later I understood that everything is absurd, and that is the whole point of this movie. It shows confused people, cheating spouses, and how they try to make simple things complex, which leads them into chaos with a tragic outcome. The most consistent thing was that everyone was trying to cheat their partners, which feels like a dark reflection of human behavior.

Overall, all the actors did a splendid job and every character was perfect in its role. I would definitely watch this movie one more time if I get some free time 😂

"Report back to me  when - I don't know, when it makes sense". It never makes sense.

When I saw Sledgehammer was in this movie I freaked out.

So sledgehammer now works for Dr. Skoda?
the funny places life takes us
Next you are gonna tell me that James Bond ended up captaining a Soviet Sub??

Karl is so Karl in this scene

These scenes with these two are my favorite part of the movie

idk why but the dude at the beginning was so satisfying
