It would simply disintegrate and fall into the dust. Like time itself.
If someone ever does go and visit those first lunar bases… and they decide to touch the flags just to see that happen, I hope they have the foresight to get high speed video of it because that shit would look freaking awesome in slow motion! 🇺🇸🫡 🚀

I used to record Headbangers Ball every week, then go through the programme afterwards and transfer my favourite videos onto another cassette. I did exactly the same thing with The Friday Rock Show on Radio 1 — recording the programme, then making my own compilation cassette of the best tracks from that week.
Over the years I ended up with an absolutely incredible collection of rock and metal videos and audio recordings. At the time, though, I remember thinking, “Nobody is ever going to be interested in all this stuff.” 🤦♂️
So, eventually, I got rid of the lot.
And now, whenever I see something like this uploaded to YouTube, I think…
“Flipping heck — I could have had my own YouTube channel!”
All those Headbangers Ball videos, Friday Rock Shows and personal compilations — sitting there ready-made.
Sadly, it was all before the days when you could realise that one day millions of people would actually want to watch and listen to exactly this stuff.
Sad, but true!
