In this watercolor tutorial I'll share my process for painting a stylized illustration of Water Lilies using Negative painting technique in Watercolor and Gouache. I'll first show you how to sketch the Water lilies and leaves using a simple technique then how to build up each layer.
I'l also sharing my technique for fixing mistakes.

Supplies:
Watercolor paper, Cold pressed, 100%cotton, 300 gsm
Prussian green, lemon yellow, Indigo, spring green
Yellow and White Gouache (I mixed them to get a lighter yellow)
Round brushes in different sizes, I'm using synthetic ones in size 4, 8 and 12
