Tyrannus is the Frank Grimes of Marvel, he lives in a one room lair above an underground dungeon and below another underground dungeon

The Incredible Hulk (1996), starred Neal McDonough as Banner and Lou Ferrigno as the Hulk (who is an underrated voice actor). Lasted for two seasons.  Season one was PEAK, but season 2 featured She Hulk more prominently and was more toned down.  Highly recommended.

Abomination gets so many hits in 'cause he's actually stronger than Hulk...initially. But Hulk always gets stronger the angrier he is and what's the best way to piss him off?
Beat the crap out of him. So Emil usually eats shit eventually.

I will admit, the Doctor Nash bit got me.

I am kind of sad Matt didn't make it to Tyrranus. Not only that guy looks ridiculous, his theme is a bizzare mix of techno and songs that everybody associate with adult flicks.

There is an awesome scene in the old 90's Fantastic Four cartoon where Ghost Rider gives Galactus the Penance Stare. He says, "your soul is stained with the blood of billions" and it turns Galactus into a baby!

Yeah, Rhino faced Hulk a number of times in the comics. I wanna say it was even like his second or third appearance, Leader manipulating him into facing Hulk.

Tyrannus is Romulus Augustulus, the last ruler of the Western Roman Empire. In his exile, he fought the Black Knight in Arthurian England and was banished to Subterranea. There, he found a stockpile of Deviant technology that he used to attack the surface. He discovered the Fountain of Youth on one such raid, which allowed him to live into the modern day and become a B-list Hulk villain and rival to the Mole Man.

The only time I ever saw the Silver Surfer cartoon was when I was recovering from a back surgery in a hospital as a kid. Super out of it during that period, so that made an extra weird watching experience.

Childhood rental as well. Made me smile to see it in my notifications today.

There absolutely was a Hulk cartoon in the 90s on Fox Kids. I only ever caught a few episodes but I remember the important part which was it did have a lot of She-Hulk in it.

Lyja was Human Torch's love interest for a good while... But like most of his love interest, they don't last.

Hulk has faced a few Spider-Man villains, and Hulk and Sandman are some from the 70's and 80's where's he's fought them the most.

The popular theory for Rivals Hulk is that he was supposed to be Amadeus Cho, The Totally Awesome Hulk. Cho was that for a bit, now he's a leaner smaller Hulk called Brawn. It makes since, since he's a lesser known Asian hero, and his kit and design looks like his.

Tyrannaus is a old school Hulk villain that's basically his Mole Man, but built like a Greek god. He's NOT a very popular character, like he hardly appears in things anymore.

All three of those 90's series only lasted for two seasons, and Silver Surfer was just a season. The Hulk season became a joint season with She-Hulk.

The Fantastic Four theme in season 1 has cheesy lyrics, but season 2 ditched the lyrics for the most part.

The first season of Iron Man was kinda lame... But season 2 's went SO HARD!

26:05 Somehow YouTube glitched for me so that a frame of this fading in was shown for the last few seconds before you died, it was like having a vision of the future

I also remember renting this game at Blockbuster on Sega Genesis.

“Hulk: Ultimate Destruction” is my all time favorite Hulk game.

The 90s Silver Surfer  cartoon is amazing. It's on Disney Plus. It has the most epic of theme songs and Galactus's voice actor is perfect. The Iron Man  90s cartoon had two themes? The second one has Tony Stark with a radical mullet and he's blacksmithing to a pounding metal beat going "I AM IRON MAN!" Its honestly cooler than the cartoon actually is.

The animated iron man show had this one intro that seemed like it was directed by a fever dream.  The mandarin shoots tony stark with his rings, then tony stark gets out the briefcase iron man suit, then the suit deflects another beam from the mandarin, then iron man flies off... to go fight the mandarin somehwhere else

Season 2 got an intro that made more sense and showcased the weird ability of the suit to just turn into every suit and also had a legally distinct Iron Man song.  It's so funny how black sabbath made sure that marvel couldn't sue them, and then marvel had to make sure black sabbath couldn't sue them either

I was just playing this earlier this evening. You can enter the big pool in the first level. There's also a hidden area in the first manhole of the game. Going through the left wall will net you some power-ups.

God damn man. With all the horrible, terrible very bad shit going on in the world, I needed this. To simply chill out and watch Matt smash his way through some hulky goodness.

There is something really funny about seeing seeing certain super heroes doing very mundane actions that gets me. In this case it is watching The Incredible Hulk, climb a ladder. Or if we are doing a Futurama reference, him driving a runaway semi truck.

This is a video game core memory for me.
