Fun Fact: This game was rushed. There was WAY more planned for the game but was cut such as the Omega Red boss fight, Wolverine could climb walls using his claws and he could do special stealth kills on enemies, he could slide down surfaces, he could do a subtle crouch jump so you couldn't get detected by enemies, he could do "super leaps" like in the comics and Spiderman was going to help you on missions!

Finally, the time has come. Matt is finally playing the game that always made me wanna rip the hair from my scalp. What a classic.

Jesus, the stealth/sense vision just slammed me right in the nostalgia. That sound effect is buried deep in there

So the story of why it's marketed as X2: Wolverine's Revenge yet the game has no connection to the movies is that it actually started out as an original story but the movie was out and became a hit so they decided to use the X2 name in hopes it gets more attention and it worked. False Marketing in a nutshell.

Mark Hamill doesn't get enough credit for his performance as Wolverine. Shame he hadn't gotten a chance to reprise.

"He's from Alberta" shocked you didnt pull a Lance Storm. Calgary. Alberta, Canada. If I could be serious for a minute...

Mark Hamill voicing Wolverine only once is such a cool and weird thing for this game, because he's good in the role but he's never done it again is still odd.

The default Wolverine is the New X-Men yellow and black, because it was the current design at the time.

Department H is the government team that recruited Logan to join Alpha flight. Weapon X Labs is what you're thinking of.

Goonerine is a visual I did not want to wake up to,  what happens with his claws upon completi.... Nevermind

I can only assume the bug was caused by the stairs, because God knows videogame stairs were invented by the Devil himself.

I remember playing this on the GameCube.

17:12 he turned invisible and the game probably wanted you to use your spidey sense but matt REFUSED

7:04 does anyone else who played this game religiously as a kid still sometimes just hear the senses background noise?

When I think of Wolverine VAs, my mind automatically reverts to Steve Blum.

15:11 "Oh, c'est dangereux çaaaaaaa!"
Love it.

I remember watching the 'making off' of this game on Game Network (anyone remember the glory years of that UK & Italy TV Channel, back in the day?). One of the programmers was Scottish. He did the voiceover for Wendigo in the game. He performed for Game Network's camera into their microphone.

Edmonton looking exactly as I remember it

18:58 The Wall-verine

I hope you do a full playthrough of this game. It is a riot. Great rage inducing experience.

This was a solid game for the time. And Hamill does a good Wolverine.  :)

2:12 various action figures of this 'costume' give him shorts too. I guess cos it be difficult to blur an object in person. :P
