Great video Geoff.  Hope you didn't lose your coolant tank cap.

The one thing that bugs my wife is when people sell anything (cars or shoes) with the description saying "needs a quick clean" - just clean the damn thing before you try to sell it! I saw a car on marketplace a few months back that was absolutely filthy inside and out, and he expected money for it.

Why is the radiator cap not on?? Its just sitting on the inside of the front wing 😂😂

Brilliant video. Geoff is so good at this. Thank you!

Its amazing how few people know how to take photos

I hate adverts that don't show you the driver's seat bolster TBF, always feel they're trying to hide the damage.

If a site only gives you three free photos, I do front quarter right or left, opposite rear and one interior.

Geoff, you know, I love your content and your advisory here is better than what maybe 80% of people do when taking photos from their car. If you allow me, I'd like to add some additional recommandations.
Your 3/4 front and rear shot should really be 3/4 and not 7/8. When you turn the wheel, turn it inside, that gives the viewer a better look on the alloys.
But when you take pictures of the interiour, turn the steering whell back to it's normal, straight position.
Take everything off the front and back seats, so everyone can see the bolster.

Wow, this Jaguar is really in, ahm, average condition. I'm semi-optimistic, that it'll sell for 3.500 pounds. But you never know. Fingers crossed.

Great advice. I do similar when taking photos of garden machinery I am selling used. I usually do two, good angle views, a front view, serial number sticker view, engine view and any defect or small details. Decent picture do help with any sales. Also make sure anything your selling looks clean.

All good stuff and a great reminder for anyone wishing to list a vehicle

If this the legendary Jag you've never made any videos of...?

Great video Geoff. It's surprising the amount of people who don't know how to list or photograph a car properly. 8 to 12 pictures is perfect. A bugbear of mine is when people post 100 images and bury the 10 you need right in the middle. I'm not a fan of word salad descriptions written by AI either. Just give me bullet points by a human being who's seen the car.

Looks great

Good video. 😂👍

Know somebody who buys and sells performance cars.

Takes all the photos in a local country park because the unit he uses has all the grace and charm of a scrapyard

Does so in week so often no other cars around

But he finds that all too often somebody turns up and.....parks next to him

I’m sure you are now aware about the cap from your coolant tank?
I usually try to take pictures when it’s sunny-I know that’s asking a lot in the UK this time of year🤷‍♂️
I always straighten the steering wheel for pictures & photograph the tread/date on the tires.
If possible,I also try to get some of the undercarriage(with lighting)to either show the rust or lack of it.
There’s some people on American marketplace/Craigslist who put little to no effort photographing their vehicles. Trash piled up on the interior floor,no pictures of the dashboard/engine with no mention of what engine/transmission the car has.
One picture of the front holding a thumb up in front of the number plate(American thing)
One picture of the side of the car with ONLY the doors & wheels in frame🙄

Great informative video Benji Nees. My other half said he couldn't see a focus but could see a jaguar😂😂

Hiya Geoff, where did you get your cap from please?

Step 3: Don't have a massive hole in the side of ya car
