My great grandparents on my mother’s side of the family emigrated to America from St. Ives in the 1920s. I’ve always wanted to see St. Ives firsthand because I hear it’s beautiful and also to get in touch with my past.

One thing that I can add is apart from that guys - you can shadow James, in this way you can practice input and output. Only input is too less to speak, but yet most of as want to speak ;) Good work!!! James please travel as much as possible and create this kind of the videos, these are so usufull!!!

Came for a quick English vocab lesson, stayed for the virtual holiday to St Ives 😂 The harbor scenery is stunning, but hearing the local linguistic history alongside the real talk about seasonal tourism made this so much more interesting than a typical textbook lesson.

An absolutely charming video. Last summer, while staying in Truro, I went to St. Ives for a day, and totally loved it despite the crowds of people and the high prices. Honestly, though, a place I liked more than St. Ives was Falmouth. Keep on with your videos, I enjoy them immensely!
