One of my favorite APC songs. It hits a certain sonic space that almost nothing else hits.

This song is sort of a more mature evolution of TOOL's "Hooker with a penis" and "Stinkfist" in terms of the idea behind the song. The official video paints a clear picture of our "silicone obsession" with devices and immediate information.

The best I can describe Maynard's three bands:  Tool -> Most intense/comprehensive creative output; A Perfect Circle -> Most straight forward rock; Puscifer -> Most unrestricted fun.

Maynard only speak in metaphors. Welcome to one of the best bands on the planet! :)

APC always has killer melodies, and Disillusioned is right on top of the pile.  And quite frankly, the whole Eat the Elephant album is fantastic, start to finish.  I never say "underrated" about anything, but this is as close as I can be to actually saying it.  But I won't.
