The Creeper disguised as a silencer was disposed of at the end of the film. The tests were conducted under the supervision of a suitably experienced, qualified, and authorized official. What remains of this toy is available for viewing at the filming location – you can touch it and take a souvenir photo. It hangs from the ceiling on the rifle axis of the ZKS shooting range. I hope no one steals it ;p
The sounds of gunfire were recorded with a Zoom H4 recorder from a distance of 40 centimeters from the weapon. Unfortunately, the recording from the recorder set up in the parking lot didn't survive – in this additional recording, the attenuation effect reached about -50%, and the loss of echo on the axis was more clearly audible.
I've only ever flown jet sleds :p
