It was wholesome till you realize the kid engineer had to build himself an actual dad.

1:32 the attention to detail to how a child walks here is impeccable!

@Eyeofdust 3 years ago

this feels very realistic story wise

a child not being able to fight against their parents while bullying everyone else like a smug moron

engineer always being alone and having to build his friends and family that double as protection

and spy forcing scout to apologize being the icing on the cake

@Levmih 3 years ago

This was actually very wholesome realising that engineer’s dad is a machine, but they both treat each other like an actual son and dad!

The implication that the Engineer dad could've survived the pistol fire all along implies the boy wants his dad to ACTUALLY be like a real person with actual fears, not an invincible force of awesomeness.

The sheer level of power in this move

sometimes life throws you a curveball, that's when you gotta buckle down and build your own papa

1:33 Cracks me up every time hearing that

I love that he perfectly matched how a child walks down stairs in a hurry while still being careful

I know I'm supposed to enjoy the wholesomeness of the story, but I just like how in character scout feels. Like the way he fought the dadgineer felt somehow appropriate, like the scout was just messing around.

The Spy treating the Scout as his son is adorable and lore-wise accurate.

Its really wholesome that even if dad engineer is a robot, or is a cyborg, he still loves his son genuinely like a human would.

1:44 i didn't think i'd see engineer using his wrench as a wrench in my life

@spiffy3430 3 years ago

I feel like engineer would actually be a great dad, the ‘playing catch at the park with his son’ type.

1:44 how cars, trucks, and boats are magically fixed in Far Cry 2 by the protagonist

0:20 This moment makes me cry😭

I like how a man bullying a kid quickly escalated to someone being held a gunpoint.

@Tyon41 3 years ago

Gotta give props to scout for actually trying to fight instead of immediately pulling out a gun

1:38 have you ever took the moment to think that The Dad Engineer couldn’t comprehend The affection from a kid saying “I love you daddy” so that’s why he broke down like that?
