I've never heard Soldier talking like a normal person with a normal inflection before over such a casual topic as I had this moment.

its nice how this implies the rest of the team watches over kid engie like fathers and uncles. makes the fact that hes building his own family a little less sad: cause he's already got one

The fact that soldier knows a fact about ants means he’s studied their methods of war

The way the Engie brought up the Spymantis to Heavy is perhaps the most adorable things I have ever seen.

0:36 family dynamic. we got the dad (engie robot) the mom (one of the twins from atomic heart) and the sister? (Mimi)

I don't know if Kostamoinen is a dad but he's got the way kids act and imagine things spot on. I love the little finger fiddle he did while talking to Heavy. ❤

The fact that he can turn a bunch of psychotic mercenaries into a cute little set of characters in a wholesome storyline is the true magic of SFM animating

2:32 while engie was imagining the event and knew it wasn’t real, demoman was hallucinating it and genuinely believed he had taken out a giant spy bug

The depths to which these models have been pushed is terrifying, but I'm glad it's being used for good in the form of these very odd, but wholesome animations. A strange but lovable twist.

Child Engineer, one of the best characters for the Kostamoinen Universe.

This is a perfect story. Also, I wonder what ever happened to Gardener Heavies Demoflower?

The little scene showing that demo and little engi are playing with sticks instead of actual weapons was surprisingly wholesome

1:49 Yakuza 0 reference, battle theme “Force Addiction” when using the style Brawler on standard goons

I can’t tell if Demoman is meant to be at the level of the cool, older kid, or just the Fun Uncle playing along with Kid Engi, but both interpretations are really cute.

2:46 Soldier talking normally with your animation style feels very close to something of a tv show.

Great job! You put an entire adventure in a short 3-minute clip! It told a story that managed to captivate and entertain for its entirety, and that's not a feat many can boast.
