This is like the 3rd crafter i have seen in the last gew months do this. We did this in Girl Scouts 60 years ago with water color.

If you put another piece of car stock on top rather than the baking paper then iron you get two pieces with the crinkles reversed. Maximize the wax paper.

We are lucky to get Wax paper at a reasonable price at dollar stores in Canada 🇨🇦. I used to do this many moons ago and thanks for the refresher 🌻🌻🌻

I recall doing this on glossy paper, and putting the card and wax paper into an embossing folder, then embossing it. The wax transferred onto the card, then you added just the one dye ink. This is a great variation

Amazon sells wax paper, in rolls and sheets. Great demo, love what you did with it.

I just experimented with using a laminator. Not hot enough for cardstock but it creates an interesting background on copy paper. 😊 The copy paper absorbs the wax so the design shows on both sides of the paper. Works as a resist to ink very little though. Without inking I think looks pretty cool. I wish I could share a photo on here to show you all. What did work in the laminator was some coated ink jet paper. 😁
