I feel like you described the feeling playing cd rom games as a kid perfectly, like they truly were just something that happened to us all lol

father be careful

not me crying to a poem at the end of a let’s play

Mem, Sometimes your poetry at the end just hits me like a train.
I needed to hear that today.

The stick guy ending all of his sentences with moans is like an anime cat girl ending all of their sentences with nya.

i've come back to this video a few times which is weird bc i usually don't do that with yt vids. this time i'm realizing that it's almost like a prototype to your newer style with its sort of explorative vibe. something about the quiet and more spaced out feeling of this video is so cozy though, and i love the ending and your thoughts on nostalgia and memories.
i've tried leaving a comment on this before but never figured out what to say lol, but idk man it's videos like this that make me love the internet so much. i've said it like a million times but thank you mem

I think another reason this is super spooky is because of how empty the world is. Nobody exists without your decision, there are no background actors or people, and I think Nuketown really exemplifies that.

Woah, I was not ready for the hard shift from, Fever-Dream-Sim1996, to the introspective text there at the end.
I feel homesick all the time, the thing is, I never moved from my hometown. I moved out of my parents house in 2013, and then everyone in my family moved across the country. Ever since then it hasn’t felt like “home” here, plus it has changed a lot in the years since. I’ve been thinking about moving myself, that way at least the feeling of homesickness will come with a new setting like it’s meant to.

Jesus, that closing poem actually made me cry. I was not ready to be hit with those emotions on my Christmas trip back home lmfao you truly came at me at my most vulnerable. That was actually beautiful, good lord

Memoria channel is hardcore. God couldn’t stop me from binge watching.

This channel is such a comfy, nostalgic vibe. I love the poem at the end. From  the very beginning of it I felt so nostalgic of a place I've never been. Keep it up :)

Rocko and Spunky being the only comprehensible character models is peak nineties Nickelodeon. It feels like in this era animators had literally no guidance or oversight and if it paneled well they'd just get the green light

the ui is like flipnote x mario paint combined with the horrifying feeling of opening blender for the first time with no prior knowledge of the program or 3d modeling

I always look forward to your outro poems! Today's was especially great.

This is so nostalgic it’s creep but also feels cozy at the same time

Memoria, I don't know why it took me such a long time of being a fan before I watched this video. Because this is without a doubt one of the best, if not the best, video you did. The succinct introduction, the commentated game footage, the hilarious commentary of the randomizer output, the actually-insightful speech at the end, that was all top notch Mem that we're all used to here. But then you decide to slap us with downright POETRY at the end, so wistful and oddly nostalgic with those ambient shots (oddly because I'm European, as far away from those places as one could be)!

In short, that video was a RIDE and I'm not even ashamed of my dramatic ranting cause I was genuinely moved to my heart by this. Thank you so much!!

Another banger vid! The diner location made me really want a nick 3d movie maker recreation of the diner scene from pulp fiction (even tho i know i'm too lazy to make one myself).
Also the scene you made went pretty hard, and some of the images the choosometer generated went really fuckin hard: The floor shot of the bench with the rabbit at 15:50, spaceship creature staring past the camera at 16:06, and the dog floating in space at 16:46 - like are you kidding me?
"Just using this randomizer is creating vibes that have never existed, and probably shouldnt" i love this sentence
Also also: outro slays

You want to talk about eerie and existential horror? Lenny's Music Tunes. That CD-Rom game inexplicably scared me when i was a kid. Felt like a lonely void world.

I really liked this video, but I can't accurately express the way that it makes me feel. Probably because there are so many drastic shifts in vibes, but they don't feel jarring or unintentional. It's just a natural consequence of playing this game. I also feel like everything that's made in this software is like one of those ads or small clips of lost media. The introspection at the end especially left me feeling a certain kind of way...
I recently got to do something I've always wanted to do, but now that I've done it I don't know what to do anymore, I'm not really working towards anymore attainable goals. It's like when you finish a video game and then keep playing after the credits. It's like the curtain was pulled and everything just feels like a set piece. It's like the value in things was placed with the goal in mind, and now that the goal is complete they feel less like obstacles and chances for growth and more like unimportant forgotten entities; They feel less real. But ultimately it is all just in my head.

This game was in a CD binder that came with my family's first Gateway computer that we got for Christmas 1997.  It had a lot of other common programs in it, like Word, Creative Writer, ClipArt, etc. as well as a lot of cool games.  Sonic 3D Blast and Jurassic Park Chaos Island were other games I remember from it.
