Smooth bass, I love the active mid control options!

I like that it has the AZ style headstock

Congrats on 200K!
This thing is cool; I wish I had waited to get this, lol

Love your bass content Henning ❤

Sweet playing Bro !!!:face-blue-smiling::face-blue-smiling::face-blue-smiling:

Love it, wish the white had a matching headstock.

Kitty! ❤
Great bass. I love the wood version, looks very expensive.

Wow that's a beautiful bass. I wish they did the white body with the maple fretboard, I would buy that instantly!!!

Really great!

Great tones!

Gorgeous bass.

I really dig this Ibanezezezez bass! 🤘🔥

Great bass but it was really hard to listen to the recordings because the vocals were so loud in the mix

I got the four string: superb bass! Covers any genre & almost any loved J-bass sound, and then some…!

(You use quite a beautifull strap! What brand is that? Where did you get it?)

🖖

Really well voiced preamp on these. I couldn't find an unusable sound. Plus a passive tone which should be in every active bass.

FINALLY! A 24-fret J-style bass. And the price point isn’t all that bad, neither.

They sound awesome really, if I could I'd buy 2 of them, just to have one tuned E-C for jazz duets or trio gigs. 24 frets tuned E-C and you don't need a guitarist anymore 😂 The most unique feature to me is their new pickups, the've given up on those BS licensed Bartolinis that are really crap at Cor-Tek and designed their own single coils, their preamp is always excellent, I had an EHB 1005 SMS fanned fret tuned E-C, but chording in the upper register on fanned frets basses is really not easy, you need a regular fretboard for chords on bass. The licensed Barts pickups BH2 were really... meh. I had to put D'Addario EPS stainless steel strings to get something else than a mufled/boxy sound.

Yeah the push/pull master tone knob is an active/passive feature, means it will work both with the EQ in active scenario when pushed and alone as a regular tone knob like any passive jazz bass when pulled. I've got that feature on my boutique Marin Cano jazz bass 70's pickups spacing 5 string: the John East preamp has that tone knob that works exactly the same, Sire also does that with the V series jazz basses, but the tone knob is stacked with the volume knob. it's a common feature now with active jazz basses.

What makes me smile is that it's just a revamp of the Grooveline series that were looking totally different, maybe not enough JB looking for some people. I've never understood why they discontinued them, they were awesome too... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDTmYvfiLS0

What are those blue strap lock devices?

How does this compare to the sr305? For rock/metal?

For more than $1.2k should play and sound great..
