Bom dia, Sofia.

I lived in Panjim, Goa for a year during the pandemic and though I don't remember the names of the sweets my Catholic neighbours shared with me during Christmas, I have a feeling they are similar to Brazilian desserts because of the Portuguese influence. Do you use coconut a lot in Brazil? I've started watching 'Iron Chef Brazil' to learn more about the cuisine there. Already, I spotted one similarity with sarapatel and Goa's sorpotel.

I hope it's not too difficult being a vegan in Brazil, especially when travelling. I was raised vegetarian, but began experimenting with the Paleo diet in 2013 to improve my health and now eat animal protein regularly.
