He was a husband, a father of five, and professionally successful. Outwardly, Alexander functioned as if nothing was wrong with him—even when inside, everything was falling apart.
After 22 years of marriage, Alexander suddenly lost his wife, his family, his home, and all support. He sat in a small apartment with six boxes and realized: he was alone. He worked around the clock, suppressed his feelings, and grew increasingly angry—at his wife, at other people, and finally at himself. One day, he called almost 20 people to talk, but couldn't reach anyone. In despair, he went into the forest and talked to the trees. As he crossed a bridge on his way back, he considered jumping—but the thought of his children stopped him.
In this video, Alexander talks about:
– Divorce & Loss: What it feels like to suddenly lose everything after 22 years of marriage – family, home, and his own sense of security
– Loneliness & Emotional Exhaustion: Why he's isolated in a small apartment, unable to cope with everyday life, yet still hides his feelings from everyone
– Functioning vs. Feeling: How he throws himself into work, working 24/7, while simultaneously breaking down inside
– Anger, Hatred & Self-Hatred: How the search for someone to blame becomes a destructive burden and why he ultimately sees himself as both perpetrator and victim
– Loss & Turning Point: What happens on the bridge when Alexander wants to jump – and why his children give him a reason to go on living
– Forgiveness Instead of Self-Destruction: How confronting his own guilt changes his view of himself and others
– New Beginnings & Identity: How a man full of anger becomes a grateful person who spares his children Asking for forgiveness and rebuilding relationships
🎙 An honest conversation about divorce, loneliness, and the path out of anger and self-hatred.
