Yours is the first organizational video I've seen that keeps track of where supplies were purchased and original cost. Even though it is more work, I have done that for years. Helps so much in pricing items for sale. I've often wondered why other designers don't seem to do this. Thanks for sharing your method with us. ❤

Thank you so much for the inspiration! I’m a beginner but I’ve bought a bunch of stuff and now I don’t know what all I have. I’m so glad I didn’t put my beads in those bead containers, I’ll be checking out the dollar store for those little boxes.

Wow, thank you for suggesting identifying the beads, including their costs, with the purchase date. I, too, have found using individual boxes the best method. Now, I need to make time to organize so I'm not wasting time searching for items, which is so frustrating.

This is so helpful -- it never occurred to me to create my OWN numbering system. Combined with the spreadsheet I think I could live with not having a visual display. Thank you so much for sharing.

I use those exact little boxes ❤ lined in drawers. My organization is much more simplistic. I have four 10 drawer rolling carts of which I have each drawer labeled & lined with those boxes and each drawer designated per color. One of the cart is more per type like metals, pearls, wood, focal, large one hole, chip stone and mixed color beads. Then another cart organized per component type (tassel, connectors, charms and seed bead tubes as well) I also have two 5 drawer rolling carts, labeled and designated with upcycled jewelry projects and support supplies. I like this system cause I like to remove a drawer and visually see them up close for inspiration. 👍🤩✌️

After using several systems and spending so much money on those tic-tac boxes, I streamlined my system by putting my beads in color-coded Dollar Tree plastic food containers no matter what size, no matter what kind. I further separate my beads into different shapes such as flowers, animals, the ocean, the sky, etc. I live in an RV with such limited space and I have been able to get 4 years worth of bead collecting (🥴😯😉) on my super slide. 😂
