Great job, May! I know that was a huge project, & I'm proud of you not only for finishing, but also being very thoughtful & deliberate about it. Thank you for the good tips on organizing & future-proofing said organization, as well. I had a similar situation with my stencils. I keep the bulk of them (minus 12x12" & Tim Holtz layering stencils) in two 8x8" binder-style scrapbook albums. I have a cardstock insert in each page protector, so I can store 2 stencils in each - 1 on each side of the insert. And I have each page protector labeled (on each side, of course) with the manufacturer & name of that stencil. I sorted them into categories & put them in alphabetical order by stencil name within each category a while back, thinking that would be easier for me to find a given stencil. I keep an inventory of all my stencils in Air Table, which is an online database app, so sorting them by category then in alphabetical order made the most sense. Until I had to put a new stencil in between 2 others that were on opposite sides of the same page protector, with no way to put a blank page in between them to put the new one. So I have had to move labels to other page protectors a few times. Thankfully I don't often get new stencils, so I'm just leaving it as is, & will just move labels as needed. But I wish I had thought more in the first place about future-proofing my system. Oh well, it is what it is, & I'm not going to the big trouble of redoing it just to save a little trouble.
