I crochet and when I made a blanket for my husband, he specifically told me not to fix my mistakes. He said that showed it was handmade and unique.

Crocheter for 19 years. No there's no such thing as backwards crochet. Each row is worked into the row before it so if you frog it (yarn term for undoing your work)  from row 1 then you're taking out your foundation rows and there isn't really any way to put them back. The only way you can "fix" a mistake is to rip it out and redo it. Hopefully, you catch it when you're only a few rows down the line. If the blanket is completely done, most people just decide to live with it.

She has apologized several times for throwing away the video tapes, but continues to hide them in her car so she can throw them away on trash day? DIVORCE HER! She is not sorry!

The kids wouldn't even know they were exposed to alcohol if the parents didn't say anything. If the kids ask about the pretty glass, they could say that's her kool-aid cup or something.

12:46 How do you have a former spouse, & don't understand the child needs to have tapes of their deceased mother? Divorce her.

Video tape lady wasn’t sorry when she apologized or she would have given back the tapes instead of setting their shared friends on him.

At our work plugging anything unknown or anything that is not company property into one of the computers is a fireable offense. Honestly absolutely wild to plug a random usb drive into your computer. You can’t get mad when you dug through someone else’s stuff without asking then decided to plug something unknown you found in their bag, that you shouldn’t have been going through, into your computer. Normally its curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back. I think in this case curiosity just killed the cat unfortunately for them.

Snooping is absolutely a reason for setting a "trap"

45:14 NTA OP was very clear about one of the main reasons of her having that kill switch is because her parents are exceedingly invasive and will pick up any USB and plug it in to snoop on her. Plus, she had it in her own bag, there is no reason it should be problematic in her own bag. It’s not like she was caught using it on somebody else’s computer. Respectfully, it seems like you are framing it as if she anticipated her friend going through her bag. I don’t remember OP ever saying she anticipated her friend snooping it was because of her parents snooping.

I was widowed in my 20s (no kids). I remarried, and my now-spouse has been, if anything, a strong defender and of my keeping some things (not many, almost all in a box and drawer) from first spouse, talking about #1 occasionally, etc. I cannot imagine having a spouse who is so pathologically jealous that they are obsessed with destroying something so precious from a deceased spouse!  So glad OP divorced her!

Oh hell no. That's definitely grounds for divorce what Wendy did. She is super insecure and immature. That is crazy what she did.

"Destruction of property" in the context of a domestic dispute can be charged as domestic violence in many places. It's intimidating behavior aimed at gaining the compliance of the victim/s.

If She Didn't Snoop, Then Her Computer Wouldn't Of Gotten Fried!!!!!! This Is Called Karma, The Consequences Of Your Actions and/or The Definition Of, "Fucking Around and Finding Out!!!!!".

Crocheting person here: nope, you'd have to frog (undo the stiches) it till the mistake. Also as a crocheting person: if the mistake was that obvious that you could see it from across the room, I personally would probably see it within the next 10 rows or so and would be able to frog it until then, but some yarns are very hard or impossible to frog and you can't frog them multiple times.

BTW: I am crocheting jellyfish while I'm watching this, happy holidays.

I would never give her anything homemade again. Get her store bought items that are filled with flaws. Then she can complain about those.

Crocheted blanket - “I made it as perfect as you!”

NTA. I don't drink, but I wouldn't stop anybody from having a drink.

I am a perfectionist with my own projects, but would never judge someone for messing up something they made for me.

Crocheter here: you can't remove the yarn. Row 2 is stitched into row 1 so if you remove row 1 the second row doesn't have a foundation. You might be able to figure something out but it would be janky and lil miss perfectionist would probably hate it. Merry Christmas you two :)

Even if they’re married, breaking things during an argument can absolutely become a police issue. It depends on the state and who owned the property, but destroying shared property, the other spouse’s belongings, or breaking things to intimidate someone can be treated as domestic violence, property damage, disorderly conduct, or another criminal offense. It’s not automatically ignored just because they’re married.
