We went to the Chobochinai Road, a limited-time road in Hokkaido!
This time, we stayed overnight in our car at the Higashikawa Roadside Station "Michikusa-kan" 🚙
The next morning, we drove towards the Chobochinai Gate, chatting about various things as we went 🚐
The Chobochinai Gate is a gate located along Hokkaido Prefectural Road 1116, which connects Higashikawa Town and Asahikawa City.
Because it's only open for a limited time, it's also known as the "phantom road."
So, what kind of road is it really?
We enjoyed the Hokkaido scenery as we drove along.
Lunch at "Sanuki Udon Senkou" near Michi-no-Eki Higashikawa 🍜
We were supposed to share it nicely, but...lol
Please enjoy this realistic day in the life of a couple traveling through Hokkaido in their car! 😊

As a thank you, we give out "Nabe Hitotsu Stickers".
We travel to various places all over Japan by car, so please let us hand them to you "in person" when we pass by.
These stickers are meant to be given out in person, so we do not send them by mail.
Thank you for your understanding.

A couple in their late 30s who gave up their house. They now live in their car, armed with just "one pot" 🚙
In April 2022, they set off on a road trip, dreaming of traveling around Japan!
What was supposed to be a six-month trip has turned into 900 days of car camping (?) due to a complete lack of planning.
They have no plans for the future, let alone the future, but
they are enjoying each day as they work towards their current goal:
"to work in all 47 prefectures of Japan."
I post about my unplanned daily life of sleeping in my car and my work experiences🎵
【Work History】
Hokkaido (Inn, sweet potato farm, linen, futon making, supermarket stocking, painting, corn farm)
Aomori Prefecture (Apple farm)
Fukushima Prefecture (Ski resort)
Nagano Prefecture (Grape farm)
Ibaraki Prefecture (Sweet potato farm)
Chiba Prefecture (Pear farm, sweet potato farm)
Tokyo (Yakitori restaurant)
Shiga Prefecture (Factory)
Kagawa Prefecture (Strawberry farm, hotel kitchen)
Fukuoka Prefecture (Flower farm, persimmon farm)
Saga Prefecture (Logistics, udon restaurant, warehouse, supermarket stocking, butcher shop)
Okinawa Prefecture (Izakaya, hotel kitchen, linen, guesthouse cleaning)

Nabe-chan, who has zero vocabulary and is extremely careless! 🙋♀️
We would be happy if you would support our unplanned journey and work as a couple in our late 30s, whose future is uncertain.
〈History of Unplanned Activities〉
September 2015: Purchased land in Chiba Prefecture after a casual visit.
February 2016: Proposed, and hastily introduced ourselves to our parents before our new home was completed.
March 2016: Registered our marriage simultaneously with the completion of our new home.
(Not a shotgun wedding, but a house-building wedding)
April 2021: Started saving for retirement with the dream of traveling around Japan.
April 2022: Can't wait until retirement! I quit the company I'd worked at for over 10 years and started a trip around Japan in a kei car (mini car).
March 2023: I bought a car without a plan. I switched from a Daihatsu Wake to a Toyota TownAce.
June 2023: My savings are running low. What to do now!?
June 2023 onwards: Living in my car while working using apps for day work (agriculture), part-time jobs (like Timee), and resort work.
The daily life of a couple in their 40s who want to "live while traveling" across Japan.
