finding out that nick is a kpop fan just feels right

Love the way Nick is so fucking invested to this movie 😭

36:56 The tiger's name is actuality Derpy, I cackled when he called it derpy 😂

The honmoon was sealed in 2012, with gangnam style

The sword that the main character Rumi swings is a traditional Korean sword called a 'Saingeom'.

Saingeom is a ceremonial sword used by the kings of the Joseon Kingdom to chase away evil spirits, could only be made once in 12 years, in the Year of the Tiger

In Korean folklore, "jeoseung saja" (저승사자) are essentially grim reaper figures that escort souls to the afterlife (the term literally means “underworld messengers")

It would be a bit morbid (and perhaps a bit too on the nose) if they were called "Joseung Saja Boys," so shortening the name to “Saja Boys” could be a clever reference to their role as demonic soul collectors while lending them credibility as a legitimate-sounding idol group.

Saja also means lion in Korean, that's why you see the lion as their logo sometimes.

This is also why their fandom is called the Pride! Cuz a group of lions is called a pride :3

"I wonder if Celine's like her aunt or something", "it sounds like she is"

Guys, it was literally explained in the first 5 minutes of the movie 😭 Rumi's mom is a sunlight sister but she died so Celine (also a sunlight sister) took care of her and built Huntrix around her

Sunlight Sister = previous generation of kpop trio before Huntrix

"imagine if America had a Barrier created by Taylor swift" 💀💀💀💀💀💀

Little explanation about the awards: There are multiple weekly music shows kpop groups can promote on, and on some of them you can win each week/rank #1 through certain criteria (mv views, votes, physical albums sales, downloads, etc) They would also be performing whatever song they were promoting. [Think old-school original TRL~] THEN there are the BIG yearly award shows (MAMA, MelOn, AAA, etc.) [These are like yearly award shows in the west like the Grammys] These shows usually have special stages of the songs they've been performing on the music shows but with increased production, dance breaks, other songs, etc.

So many people are pissed at zoey and mira saying they wanted to k*ll Rumi. Its obvious they didn't and they ONLY raised their weapons after rumi yelled and lost control since they dont know whats she's capable of in that form

My two obsessions have merged!!!!

i went on a reaction binge for this movie yesterday so this made me so happy lol

This movie has been blowing up the past few weeks. 2:28 Kpop singers are really skinny, so it’s good that Huntrix actually eat food and stay fit.

One of the fun facts in the movie is that when people were sleeping on the sidewalk for huntrix the people in the sleeping bags were the saja boys and the one on the chair is jinu🤣😂🤣😂

i’m so interested in what kpop artists nick is a fan of now

hello!! fun saja boys detail! "saja" (사자) means "lion" (hence the lion motifs when the posters & promotional materials for the saja boys  and why their fans are called a pride) but in korean culture, their “saja” (사자) comes from "jeoseung saja" (저승사자) , which also means grim reaper—a messenger from the underworld who comes to collect souls!

rumi casually jumping off the plane with attitude is iconic

34:07 they say it "The song we couldn't write, this is what it sounds like"

1:51 omg so real she would seal the honmoon with the eras tour 😂😭

I haven't seen Nick this focused watching smth on camera in a minute, I'm glad you guys enjoyed it as much as I did. I'm obsessed with this  movie
