So Im a noob. Had koi for 3-5 years.
I tried forcing it like this.
Then one day all of a sudden there was some changes and then the water went all White and foamy.
Then I Saw the eggs.
I catched alot of Them.
But sadly some died in the filter I didnt get, some still swims around in the pond.
Many of the once i catched in this form off net, somehow dissapered. I Think they got preyed on by the dragonflylarva… but im unsure. This is my very first time ever trying this so i hope I get bigger pond with more space and some more space for something like breeding. Find I very facinating. (Sorry the english is off, not my main language)
But Can you maybe make a video with step by step?
How do you move them to the other tub?
Do you just full with pond water, and put some new water in the pond ? And then Connect a filter til to tub?
What do you do when they get 3-6-10 cm Long ?

Can you tell me how you created your spawning net. What you used and do you do the bleaching and malachite green

Love your video. I would love to know what do you do with the fry that you don’t want. Will the adults eat the babies like they eat the eggs? I have spawned discus but since I didn’t have a place to keep the fry after the parents kicked them out, I distracted the parents so the eggs were eaten by the other discus.

Your spawning area is too small. Koi are encouraged to spawn when
the water is really clean, like after a water change. High nitrogen and
Other impurities in the water turn them off. Clean water signals them
that there is enough room for fry.
