An old small stone cabin stands abandoned on the bank of a river, far from civilization and surrounded by wilderness.

In winter, I walked across the frozen river to reach this forgotten place and bring it back to life.

Step by step, I cleaned years of debris, built a table and a bed, repaired the stove, and made a new chimney. Using old wooden boards, I installed a floor, added windows, insulated the roof, and slowly turned the abandoned structure into a warm and cozy shelter.

Later, I added curtains, pictures on the walls, and even built a small fence in front of the cabin.

Many days of work went into this reconstruction.

Winter slowly turned into spring. The snow melted, and the river rose almost to the doorstep of the cabin. Now I can fish right outside the entrance while staying warm inside.

Despite the rising water and changing weather, the stone cabin remains quiet, cozy, and alive again.
