It’s the end of an era. Beloved Australian comedy Colin From Accounts is wrapping up with its third and final season. Married writer-actor duo Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall brought to screen in 2022 the mismatched Sydney couple Gordon and Ashley, who bond over an injured dog they name Colin: what started as an unapologetically Australian comedy became a global phenomenon.

Their show landed in the middle of Australian TV’s post-Covid renaissance, when a wave of quintessentially Aussie series, with thick accents, brazen sarcastic humour and humble sets broke through to a global stage. I have just binged watched all 3 seasons and cannot wait for the final episode of season 3. I’m so in love with every character in this show. Beautifully written and acted with an amazing cast. I will miss it when it’s finished.

Loved this show. Binged over a few days. The sense of humour to me as a 49yr old man in norhh east England was identical. Hilarious. I shall seak out their other work and look forward to future projects.
Crazy that these 2 have a 12 yr gap and two kids together...exactly the same situation for me. Had to root for them!!

I absolutely love this show, all the way from Canada. I stumbled across it while on a plane to Europe. I honestly thought it was going to be an office comedy. Surpassed my expectations by a lot.

The 2nd season is pretty perfect tv for me. Season 3 ok, but 2 is peak smart/weird/real.

This is so well written. I have absolutely love love loved this series. It compares to me as good as Kath and Kim. I am going to miss it when it’s over 😢

Immaculate writing. Season 3 has zero filler. In league with Fawlty Towers, The Office and Peep Show. Maybe season 3 surpasses.

THE BEST EVER!!!
So Fuckin funny...Superbly acted! There ain't one weak character!
I'm gonna be gutted when I get to episode 8 of season 3, as I was watching the final episodes of seasons 1 & 2.
You can always do a film of it though!!! That'll be bloody awesome!

Came across this show completely randomly. One of my favourite ever, but could have so easily never seen it or heard of it. Definitely a hidden gem. Hope they don't make some lame American remake like they always try to with succesful comedies from Britiain, Australia, etc.
