I feel like this was written by a person who hated it when their parents told them to go outside so they made this SCP.

I like how Uriel recognizes the deer subconsciously but does not remember it. What an awesome touch that was added there

SCP-001 is literally like a "red-blinding God". Unfortunately, kudos to The Gate Guardian who's protecting the gate till his last life.

Huge shoutout to Uriel for keeping Heaven safe. True chad till the end.

Uriel: What part of “Thou Shall Not Enter” don’t you understand?!

I didn’t expect the Deer to be involved, but it’s interesting that it was resisting the sun’s power. I’m sad that the guardian died but he did what was necessary. He will go back to his master.

"If this is how I must die for the garden to be safe, so be it" and with that the guardian gives his life to defend the creation that gave birth to free choice.

Edit: wow my most liked comment

He knew he couldn’t fight THE DEER when its actions were controlled by the Broken Sun. So he at least made sure to essentially weld the Gate closed to prevent anyone from tainting it. And as long as that remained true and the Garden was still untouched, he would be fine with perishing. Even though he had to kill himself, he still took down one of the Broken Sun’s strongest forces with him.

Loyal to the end.

2845 is a powerful creature but Uriel's courage to sacrifice his life for the Garden is a sight to see.

Man, the gate guardian just did "If I die here today, might as well just take you with me." before closing the gate. Rest in paradise my friend.

always wondered how this would play out, thanks for making this

Absolute Chad. It took an Eldrich God and An Entire Army to take him out.

Uriels actually the closest thing to a hero in the whole SCP universe I love this dude

May The Gate Guardian rest in peace, dying in the line of duty against the corrupted creations his creator once so cherished, preventing them from entering the garden, fulfilling his duty right to the very end; as in the intro to robocop verses liu kang from Mortal Kombat 11 said, dying in the line of duty is a worthy and honorable sacrifice.
Edit: To those complaining about spoilers, why are you reading the comments before finishing the video?

Many years later, after all life was extinguished, the sun turned yellow... earth healed and repaired itself.  All traces of civilization crumbled and turned to dust, the oceans and lands cleared to their natural states as the millennia rolled by.     Then by happenstance... in the middle of nowhere in the ocean... a tiny creature formed from light and water, and began swimming not knowing its purpose, but knowing instinctually it needed to gather resources to grow.... thus the first bacteria was born..again...

“This universe ain’t big enough for the two of us 001s…”

SCP-001 vs SCP-001. I felt like watching two titans clash until nothing was left but the remains of a fierce battle.

Scarlet king: I HAVE FINALLY ARRIVED! I'M HERE TO DESTROY THIS WORLD! I AM-!
When day breaks: late.
Scarlet King: !?!?
