Correction: it is possible to get negative skills in the classic games - you have to use the Gifted trait (which gives you -10% to all skills) when your existing skills are low to get them into the negatives. From testing negative combat skills out, it just seems like you have a lower chance (or no chance) to hit enemies, the game doesn't break or anything. Thank you to RavenaTTV for pointing this out.

Chad move to take a hit to yourself instead of letting someone get grilled for a game breaking bug.
Don’t hear stuff like that anymore

I don't think Harold shot Richard in the foot. But he reacts very angrily when asked if he saw Richard again.

I think what happened was that Harold saw what climbed out of the FEV bath and it scared him silly.

He knew it was Richard, but what came out, screaming in agony was visibly beyond saving and that's when Harold booked it. And he's too wracked with guilt to even want to talk about it in detailm

I like the Temple of Trials. By killing ants, radscorpions, disarming traps, using first-aid and doctor skills to heal, I raise my XP as max as possible and level up by exit. Yeah, it takes time, but I like to get XP from every minute thing

gotta be honest man.. this is the only fallout iceberg series that i am really liking, very informative, very well made with small details added. Keep up the good work.

I wish these games had more cryptids like the Wanamingos, where if you go to a corner of the map at 2:30 am or something you can find some weird creatures the game dont tell you about

Well, in a way, Fallout Tactics does have pacifist play through.  My created character was the doctor and trader and didn't kill a single enemy.

Yeey part 2 of Classics! ❤️🫡

PERFECT SATURDAY MORNING VIDEO THANK YOU

Keep up your amazing classic fallout content

(50:22) My Fallout 2 character has -4% Bartering. Her Charisma is 4 and that gives her a base of 4% and then the Gifted trait makes it -4%. She remained that way the entire playthrough!

exodus is also a popular song by one of the musicians who inspired fallouts soundtrack (iirc) scorn, :)) great song to listen to, though its definitely not the song that inspired the ambiance

I thought this was gonna be all about in game lore, but it's cool to hesr about a lot of the fan and development lore.

Kellog as a character could easily fit in the classes series with the way he was written his lines “the thing about happiness is that you only had it when it’s gone” and “I shouldn’t have left him alive, I understood that kinda revenge.” Show what what fallout 4 could have been wish there was a way to have him as a companion to show how both the sole survivor and him are two broken souls of the wasteland.

Good content, must subscribe.

IMO Tactics should be broad strokes canon; There was a Brotherhood army that went east chasing after the largest remnant force of Super Mutants in Zepplins, they were separated after a storm, the primary group settled in Chicago, they went westwards again, formed an empire, they fought the Calculator and it's robot army, they destroyed it and won. The empire later collapsed leaving only a few small pockets here and there such as the group in Colorado wiped out by the Legion, and the rogue cell in Chicago.

Furthermore Emil did state on Twitter that he essentially considered the events of all mainline Fallout games including Tactics canon (but excluding BoS and Shelter) - additionally there were other Bethesda designers/writers that detailed why Tactics was only partially canon; ghouls not being immune to radiation (engine limitations) hairy intelligent, speaking deathclaws, and the presence of a lot of late 90s/2000s weapons (stuff like the NeoStead, and Calico - though IMO that doesn't matter anymore since New Vegas literally has a 1990s AR15 carbine dressed up with early-mid 2000s aftermarket parts such as SIR handguard, ACOG scope, and PRS Stock; literally the most modern weapon in the series lmao)

30:19 Dude my mom works at that hospital

Yeah, the part two ☢️❤

Great stuff as always Alt

Crazy. I was trying to make a fallout spiritual successor in Texas or an action book series
