After almost 14 years in Sweden, some Swedish habits that once felt strange or unfamiliar have become completely normal to me.

In this video, I share a few of the everyday behaviours and attitudes I gradually picked up — from how I deal with weather and free time, to parenting, boundaries, work and what I now consider a balanced life.

Some of these changes happened so slowly that I didn’t really notice them at the time. Looking back, though, I can see how much living in Sweden has shaped the way I live today.

If you live in Sweden, have moved here from somewhere else, or are simply curious about Swedish culture and everyday life, I hope you enjoy this one.

Does any of this sound familiar to you?
Is there a Swedish habit that has become completely normal to you too?
