I wrote a letter to David Attenborough when I was 6. (I’m 37 now) i got a letter back and when I looked at the date, he had taken the time on Christmas Eve to handwrite a response. Still have that to this day. Legend of a man.

Remember when people like this were the celebrities because they put in the time and earned it.

As a teenager I wrote a letter to him in the mid 80’s. He replied, in detail, to my question.
Never forgotten that. He’s an epic man.

Attenborough will never truley grasp his impact on the lives of millions if not more. (including non human) You could fill many football stadiums with generations of people who grew being taught by this absolute gentleman. What an example he has set for so many.

This man has educated most of the living generations.

They better start recording every known english word and sentence with Sir David's voice. When he is gone, we can still continue the narrations with his legendary voice

The man isn’t just a national treasure, he’s a global treasure.

He said he was careful around the animals he studied. Shame his brother wasn't when he opened Jurassic Park...

He was 83 when this was recorded, he's now 94 and hardly looks a day older.

If Sir David tells me that there are dragons and mermaids, then there ARE dragons and mermaids.

When Sir David leans forwards you know you're in for a story.

This man's voice calms me in an instant. He's just one of the coolest humans ever.

Someone protect this man from this COVID19 virus

Ross totally missed what Attenborough meant when he said "going to Tibet before China was there".
