If your rhythm playing sounds boring or repetitive, it's not a knowledge problem, it's a "when to use it" problem. That's exactly what my brand new course Creative Rhythm System fixes → https://go.danielseriff.com/crs-sale

I have a weird mental block with music theory. I soon get lost watching YouTube videos and eventually zone out. I still haven’t found my “A-HA!” moment in the understanding of music theory, but I think I found a few “glimmer of hope” moments after watching this video. I think I may be on to something.

Hands down the best guitar tutorial video. The way you explained it actually clicked in my brain. I’m very visual and most online tutorials do nothing for me. This was amazing! I’ll rewatch this about 10 more times & put it in practice! Thank you so much!

Daniel Seriff is consistently the person on this platform handing out lightbulb moments on a video to video basis. If my mind gets any more blown by these I might have to get a helmet. Amazing teacher.

I am a old man now in our day there was no youtube , & books were expensive , This reminds me of when I first learned ( Like a rolling stone ) from watching Jimi Hendrix play it on the film Montery Pop & I seen vertually what you have been explaining in the video , still playing it over 50 years later . Good Job .

This is the first YouTube channel that actually explains how simple all of this is.

Thank you for showing that 5/7 chord! After 51 years, that is new to me.

Great video! Showing the neck and the chord charts as a player actually sees them is next level compared to what most everyone else is doing. I never learned any music theory and this is such a huge help. Keep up the great work!👍

Man figuring this out myself made me feel like a genius 😝. But its one of the most valuable lesson thank you.

That diminished substitution with a slash chord is one of the best pieces of musical advice I Never heard before‼Especially because sometimes those diminished chords can have tricky fingerings to execute quickly! Subbed and rang that 🔔 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice on the dim replacement. Still all in key. Haven't seen that one before.

I know the number system but struggled to actually apply it in real time. This simple pattern is an absolute game changer. Thank you for this awesome lesson Daniel.

I feel like you unlocked the fretboard for me. Honestly a lot of youtubers get me either lost or I feel like I just can't remember and apply their technique for unlocking the fretboard. But I think I will be coming back to this video & your channel!
