I think what makes Undyne's verses so effective is that she seems genuinely pissed off at Knuckles for failing his people. She's not just trying to diss him, she wants him to rethink his life.

Knuckles: Ha, you got beat by a kid

Undyne: YOUR WHOLE FAMILY IS DEAD

@0r4n 2 months ago

She popped ult frame one and kept it going the entire fight

Undyne really ended this with "here's your consolation prize, family reunion."

To this day Undyne’s opening verse is still absolutely foul 😂

Like usually you save the heavy hitting stuff for later in the verse, but nah she really hit Knuckles with the "AT LEAST MY SPECIES AIN'T FUCKIN’ DEAD" like a whole second in

Undyne is a really written character in a game where she’s either portrayed as a good yet fierce fighter or the hope of humans and monsters alike, she has little to nothing to be slandered about unless you count her dying in the undying form, being lesbian, or just a bad cook 😭

Fight: 3%
Undyne kicking a corpse: 97%

There HAS to be a mercy rule on these kind of battles

Undyne heard an insult and popped ult instantly.

Undyne be like: "yo knuckles smile for the camera for the selfie" takes a picture of knuckles "what a nice family photo"

@RedstoneAnimatesandmore 2 months ago

"Strike you down, once more roped in the footsteps of your parents" is a massively underrated finisher like DAMN

Undyne stop, he's already dead.

“You will get slaughtered by the guard that has the highest honor!
With the might of monsters turn Hyper Knuckles to Hyper Goner!”

It was over right there, bro. Knuckles never had a better comeback for that one 😂 😭

I ain't that huge into rap battles anymore but the fact that most of these would end with whipping out a second form, Undyne didn't even need to do that she just swept form one
